Day 11: Legenderry -> Galway

That morning it was time to travel to Galway and on our drive there we had fun on the bus singing and clapping to some traditional Irish pub songs. One song that we played multiple times was that of the city's namesake, Galway Girl! When we finally arrived we had free time to wander about the city for a couple hours before heading to the hotel to freshen up for dinner in town. It was fun exploring all their shops and markets.

Later that evening, we returned to the main part of the town for dinner at a local pub called Monroe's. I had a steaming hot bowl of the traditional Irish stew with a few slices of some amazing Irish soda bread!

After dinner everyone went out to a couple different pubs, and from what I gathered from the stories of the evening, it was a pretty awesome and crazy night. I did not go because my stupid body decided to catch some sort of cold hybrid and I didn't want to make myself feel worse by going out (even if I did miss out on a ton of fun!). I really hate being responsible sometimes!
